School Musical
So on Friday I went to the opening night of Davis's musical. It's called Pirated Penzance and it is the funniest thing I have ever seen!!! It is a spoof of Pirates of Penzance. The idea is that Penzance is being filmed with silent film actors and vocalists in a sound booth. The vocalists find out that their contracts are rigged and they take over the set! The police come and do a tap-dance routine! Mayhem abounds and the music is amazing! I am so going again next friday. On another note, this tuesday I have a debated tournament and saturday is the regional dance. Ethan

Hey, I want to come! We went to a spoof of the "compete" works of William Shakespeare with Hannah's 8th grade at the High School. The thing was very funny at first and then turned into raunch and filth and grossness. They finally called the show half way through saying they didn't know it was going to be so inappropriate for the audience. I guess one of the administrators saw a production of it in New York and so approved this troupe to come. Different director, different actors, DIFFERENT play! It was unfortunate as the spoof idea is so much fun! Hope you enjoy it again the second time and tell your mom to post something!
