Christmas Newsletter 07

Lights, Camera, Action

Ethan spent many many hours marching with the high school marching band this summer. To bad Laurie couldn’t tell which one was Ethan and now we have a bunch of photos of Mckenzie.

You’ve Got Mail & Mail….

Each day the computer tells us how much unread E-mail Clark has. It stopped counting when it hit 1600. Your better off text messaging him.

………98, 99, 100!

Thinking it was a brilliant idea Laurie sent Cameron to school with 100 Q-TIPS for 100 days of school. When it came time to share no one wanted to trade their 100 pieces of candy for a Q-Tip. BUMMER!

Deprived No More

Wesley and Ethan joined the ranks of tech savvy teenagers this year, sort of. The phones can ring, but they can’t text.

What color did you say?

Laurie’s running philosophy this year was “ If you’ve got a cool shirt, I’ll run the race.” She got 4.

Full Circle

Once again we are reminded of “what goes around comes around.” We bought a 1986 Hyundai for Wesley to drive. It just so happens to be the same type of car as the first one we owned.

Public Service

After months of propping up our mail box in a bucket of gravel we got a new one, but only after the mail lady had to pick it up off the ground a few times to put the mail in it.

Turtle…..NOT

Cameron did is best animal impression ever this year. He pulled his arms and legs inside his shirt and then promptly fell off his chair face first. His teacher told him the tooth should be worth at least $5.00.

Now that’s Ironic

Wesley started an early college program this year. Never did we expect to be paying for two educations at once, Wesley and Clark (Student Loans). The loans are now paid off!

Vindicated

Jacob and Ethan each got their own bedrooms this last year. Jacob was finally able to prove the MESSY room was not him.

Scary

Ethan’s proudest moment came when he freaked out his section with his wicked watch tan line. Or maybe when the band won the DAVIS CUP COMPETION! (it was wet)

What does that say

After almost drowning herself by getting drinks so she could read the white board at school we took Robin to get glasses. Now she can see everything.

On your mark, get set, GO!

Robin ran her first and probably last race this year. In the end she got a race shirt and breakfast.

All I want for Christmas

When asked what he wanted for Christmas Jacob said “What I want or what I’m likely to get?”

Hoping you get what you want for Christmas!

I loved the picture and it is shocking how your kids have changed, especially Jacob! Amazing what a couple of years will do. Ethan, tell your mom to get busy blogging!
